Former Arsenal striker Nwankwo Kanu believes Patrick Vieira and Thierry Henry are better fit for Arsenal than Mikel Arteta.
Kanu insisted his former teammates would have done a better job at the Emirates than Arteta because they understand the demands of a club like Arsenal.
Kanu shared the dressing room with Vieira and Henry between 1999-2004 and the trio won numerous titles for the North London before he joined West Bromwich Albion.
Speaking at the launch of the 5-A-Side Bet on Arsenal v Everton, Kanu said: “I agree with William Gallas that Patrick Vieira would be a good fit as Arsenal’s manager because he’s Arsenal through and through.
“I think the same thing about Thierry Henry. If you asked me, I’d say go and get both of them.
“They’re Arsenal blood and their presence would make Arsenal a better team.” He said.
Kanu, 44, joined Arsenal from Inter Milan in a £5million deal and went to who scored 43 goals in 197 appearances for the Gunners.
