Katsina United will hope to humble Kwara United when both teams face-off Sunday in one of the NPFL matchday 11 fixtures at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina.

‘The Changi Boys who lost 1 – 0 to Rivers United in their last game in Port Harcourt, will hope to return to winning ways when they host ‘The Harmony Boys’.

Katsina United remain unbeaten at home since they gained promotion back to the Nigeria Elite League in 2017 and they will throw everything into this game to ensure that they keep their home record alive.

While Kwara United will bank on their good run of form on the road that have seen them draw two games away from home against Insurance and Rivers United in the NPFL matchday 4 and 7, respectively.

Katsina United head coach Abdullahi Biffo told www.fckatsinaunited.com that it will be a difficult game considering the pedigree of the two sides, but he’s certain Katsina United will carry the day.

“No doubt, Kwara United are a good side; the game will be difficult, but I am optimistic that my team (Katsina United) will win the match,” he declared.

“We cannot afford to drop any points at home because this league is a difficult one. Every game is very important and we will take them one at a time.

“The players are fully ready because they are all aware of the importance of this game.”

Katsina United have dropped to eight position on the league table with 10 points from eight games, while Kwara United are fifth with 12 points from nine games.
