Kayode nets for Sivasspor in thrilling contest against Antalyaspor

Kayode Olarenwaju was on target for his club Sivasspor in their Turkish Super Lig game against visiting Antalyaspor on Saturday.

The former Manchester City and Girona striker started the game and last 74th minute, before he was replaced.

Sivasspor took the lead in the 10th minute through Caner Osmanpansa, but it lasted for only 14 minutes as visitors hit back, through Angolan forward Kulembe Ribeiro, known as Fredy.

The visitors went ahead on the 42nd minute when 22-year-old Turkish midfielder Doğukan Sinik scored from close range.

The game took a dramatic twist as Kayode levelled the scores on the stroke of halftime with a well-taken goal.

It was his 3rd league goal in 7 appearances for Sivasspor this season. Kayode was later replaced by Mustapha Yabatare on the 74th minute.

Meanwhile, another Super Eagles player on the payroll of Sivasspor, Azubuike Okechukwu was on the bench for 90 minutes.
