Nigerian International, Olarenwaju Kayode was among the goal scorers as Sivasspor slumped to 3 – 5 defeat to Villareal in Europa league Thursday.
The former Manchester City forward was on target for Sivasspor in the 33rd minute to reduce the deficit to 2-1.
The goal was his first-ever goal in European competition, and unfortunately, it was enough to earn his team a point.
The 27-year-old has made 3 appearances for Sivasspor since joining on loan from Shakhtar Donestk of Ukraine this summer, he also has 1 goal and 1 assist to his name.
Meanwhile, Samuel Chukwueze was also on parade in the game and he provided the assist for Villarreal’s opening goal in their 5-3 win against Sivasspor.
Chukwueze provided the assist for Villarreal’s opener scored by Takefusa Kubo in the 13th minute.
