Kelechi Iheanacho has been announced as the winner of the Leicester City Goal of the Season award.
Iheanacho’s beautiful strike against Crystal Palace was chosen as the best goal scored by the club this season.
The 24-year-old was presented with the award by gaffer Brendan Rodgers, in the company of the owner of the club Mr. Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha on Friday.
The former Manchester City forward beat past two Crystal Palace defenders, before sending a powerful curler beyond left West Ham goalkeeper to earned Leicester City a come-back win.
The attacker has now won three individual awards since picking up his good form in 2021.
Recalled he also scoped the club’s goal of the month award for March and was also named as the premier league player of the month as well.
