Kodie assures of Men wrestling Olympic qualification after reviewing January return

Coach of Nigeria’s men wrestling national team Victor Kodie has assured Nigerians that the men Wrestling team will not fail in it bid to qualify as many as four out of the six weight categories for men wrestling at the Tokyo Olympics later in the year.

Kodei speaking in a chat with brila.net after reviewing the potential of the men’s team on the premise of the Champion of champions wrestling tournament that went down in the month under review after almost a year of inactivity.

He added that he is satisfied with the wrestlers output and that he will continue to work on the team ahead of the Africa wrestling Championship and the qualifiers in April.
“I’m assuring the men though we don’t have them that much but I believe in the qualifiers to the Olympics, we can qualify as many as four or three. That is my belief because this champion of champions we tried to bring them to get themselves fit towards these outstanding Championships that are coming up. What I see here I believe the people are ready to make us proud too.”
