Nigeria Professional Football League side Kwara United have completed the signing of central defender Jide Williams.

Kwara United announced the signing of the experienced defender on Friday, but the details of his contract were not disclosed.

Jide Williams who is regarded by many as the tallest player in the Nigerian professional football league joined Abdullahi Biffo’s side after ending his spell at Heartland of Owerri.

The tough-tackling defender is known for his ability to organize the back four and also abilities to smell danger.

He was the crowd favorite during his time with Nasarawa United and Heartland and he will be hoping to make an instant impact with Kwara United with the new season kick-off.

The lanky defender becomes the sixth signing for the Harmony Boys in the window after the arrival of Dele Aiyenugba, Jide Fatokun, Nosiru Afeez, Michael Ohanu, and Kabiru Adewole Adeniji.
