Ladan Bosso is one the verge of replacing Aliyu Zubairu as the technical adviser of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Wikki Tourists of Bauchi.
Erstwhile gaffer, Aliyu Zubairu, quitted his position as the head of the Club’s technical crew on Monday to take over the reign of Nigeria National League side Gombe United.
Bosso has been out of job, since his departure from Gombe United last season , after failing to keep the Savannah Scorpions in the top flight.
However Gombe United official who pleaded anonymity has now revealed that the former For Eagles Coach is the leading candidate for the vacated by Zubairu.
“I cannot give you a definite answer now. But I do know that there is a proposal by the management to bring in Bosso”,
“You this is government club. There is no decision by the government yet on the proposal by the management because you know it is the government that will shoulder the financial burden in terms of payment.
“So, until government takes a decision on the proposal, we won’t make any public statement.
“But truth is, the choice of Bosso is informed by his huge coaching experience which has traversed through all the levels of the Nigeria national teams, his knowledge and understanding of Bauchi terrain, having previously coached Wikki Tourists and other factors swayed in favour leading to his choice”, the official explained.
The 2019/2020 Nigeria professional football league season will kick off on the 3rd of November 2019.
