Former Nigeria national team player and Chief Technical Officer of the Nigeria Football Federation Garba Lawal has called on players of the Super Eagles to self-critique and carry out a personal assessment of themselves after picking two points in two games against their Sierra Leonian counterpart.
Lawal speaking in a chat with brila.net after the Super Eagles goalless draw in Freetown said it is very expedient that players ask themselves questions now that the qualification plan had to drag longer than first planned.
He however stressed that he believes the team will qualify for the AFCON notwithstanding the result.
