Super Eagles duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi featured in Leicester City’s premier league defeat to Arsenal at the King Power stadium on Sunday.

While Ndidi retained his spot in the heart of the midfield, Iheanacho also got a rare start pairing Jamie Vardy in the starting eleven,  but both performed averagely.

Ndidi had a game to forget as he gave away the penalty that allowed Arsenal turn the game around en route the win.

Belgium midfielder Youri Tielemans put the Foxes ahead in the sixth minute, before Willian set up David Luiz for the equaliser in the 39th minute.

Arsenal took the lead from the penalty spot after Wilfred Ndidi was penalized for a hand ball in the box.

Mikel Arteta’s side sealed the win through Nicolas Pepe, who scored the third in the 52nd minute, with a simple tap in.

Despite the defeat, Leicester City remain third in the league with 49 points from 26 matches.
