Molde of Norway striker, Leke James said he’s frustrated with the lack of National team invitation despite his good run of form.
The former Chinese based striker has been on a good run of form in the Norwegian topflight, scoring an impressive 27 goals in 47 appearances for his Norwegian side Molde since joining in 2018.
Despite these impressive numbers, Leke James has been consistently overlooked by Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr.
While speaking with popular social media platform NSM on Monday, The Kaduna born striker expressed his disappointment not to have a national team call up despite his goal-scoring form.
“It doesn’t feel really good despite the scoring form, I haven’t been given a chance in the national team.
The 27-year-old also stressed further, that he is still hopeful about his national team dream, but he must continue to work hard for his club.
“But I just take it by faith and keep working hard that hopefully someday I will get a chance,” he said.
