Leke James joins Kayode Olanrewaju at Sivasspor

Nigerian forward Leke James has joined Turkish Super Lig club side Sivasspor from Saudi Arabian side Al-Qadi Siyah.

 

The FC Molde former for ward’s arrival was announced on Tuesday and he put pen to paper for the year deal at the club.

 

James is the second Nigerian to sign for the club in the current transfer window after Kayode Olanrewaju who joined from Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine.

 

The 28-year-old started his career with Bridge Boys, before joining Aalesunds in the Norwegian First Division, where he scored 37 goals in 90 league appearances.

 

He then left for Chinese Club Beijing Enterprises in the 2016–2017 season, but he failed to settle at the club and Molde brought him back to Norway.

 

He rediscovered his scoring touch again as he netted 33 goals in 59 appearances for the club and helped them to the league title in 2019.

 

He has played 222 games in his career, and scored 103 goals, and provided 22 assists.
