Lobi Stars defender Ebube Duru has expressed his excitement following the progression of the NPFL Champions into the next round of the CAF Champions League.
In a chat with Brila.net’s Yinka Oyedele, Ebube stated that the Nigerian league champions are excited to have passed the test of qualification to the first round after edging Cameroonian side UMS de Loum 2-0 in Nigeria at the Preliminary stage of the CAF champions league.
The defender also stressed that the victory is a product of the collective desire of the players to impress and prove to Nigerians that their representation on the continent is a worthy one.
He thereafter added that their attention now shift to the next game against Kenya’s Gor Mahia.
