Lobi stars forward Waheed Adebayo has expressed mixed feelings after his side’s 2-2 draw away from home against Heartland FC in the NPFL opening day fixture.

Lobi had scored twice in the first half to open a healthy lead against the hosts, however, Heartland rallied and gave the Owerri fans something to cheer at the end of the game.

A share of the spoils on matchday 1 was a fair outcome, but Adebayo felt the team could have managed the game better.

The Lobi Stars forward told BRL that, they bucked under the pressure of the home side, and identified fatigue and lack of concentration cost them two more points on the day.

However, the Player admitted it was a fair result for both teams and insists there’s room for improvement from Lobi as the season progresses.
