Super Eagles striker Ademola Lookman has been signed by Italian Serie A side Atalanta FC.
The forward joined Atalanta from RB Leipzig of Germany and he signed a contract until 2026.
Lookman signed for Leipzig in 2017 but failed to hold down a regular shirt at the club.
The 24-year-old joined RB Leipzig in a permanent deal back in 2019 but has spent the last two seasons on loan at Premier League sides Fulham and Leicester City.
The winger enjoyed a good season last term, contributing eight goals and five assists in 42 appearances for the Foxes.
He’s now set for a fresh start in Bergamo and would be hoping to find stability at the club.
He however becomes the latest Nigerian to sign for a Serie A team this summer, after Tyronne Ebuehi and David Okereke.
Cyriel Dessers could join the list should his expected move to Cremonese goes through.
Meanwhile, Victor Osimhen and Ola Aina are also in the book of Napoli and Torino respectively.
