Meanwhile, Adesokan Yakubu also picked gold in the men’s 49kg class.
In the women’s category, Three times Commonwealth Champion, Esther Oyema dominated in the 55kg to add to Nigeria’s goal medal haul.

Also, Latifat Tijani won gold medal in the women’s 45kg class, defeating home girl, Samira Guerioua.
Hostilities continue in Day 2 [Saturday, August 11] of the competition which serves as qualification for the 2020 Paralympic Games.
