Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye had a night to forget on Sunday as Sparta Rotterdam lost to Ajax 4-2 in the Dutch Eredivisie game.
Ajax striker Sebastien Haller beat Okoye twice in the 14th and 37th to put the hosts in commanding position.
Dutch defender Perr Schuurs slot the third past Okoye just before the break. After the restart, Ghanaian Midfielder Mohammed Kudus beat him again.
Substitute Danzell Gravenberch scored both goals for Sparta Rotterdam in the 53rd and 91st minutes.
It is the third time that Okoye has conceded three goals or more in a game for his club this season.
Rotterdam next face Willem II at home in a matchday 24 fixture coming up on February 28.
