One of the major highlights of the game, was the 22-year-old denying Mohamed Salah on one on one situation.

“It feels great, I think I need to give thanks to the team because we played very well. I am very happy to get the cleansheet on Tuesday,” he said.

“Salah is one of the best players in the world. We have fantastic midfielders and they did a great job. We were sharp and gave them no chance.”

The Watford goalkeeper also heaped praises on Kenneth Omeruo who marshalled the defense, but sadly went out of the game, due to injury.

“Omeruo did very well and gave a good account of himself. He was very important for us,” he added.
