Rangers gaffer Abdu Maikaba said his team won’t give up on their ambition to qualify for CAF Confederation Cup next season.
Rangers hosted league leaders Rivers United last weekend and only managed to get a point from the game.
The result saw the Flying Antelopes drop out of the top three, but just a point behind Remo Stars who themselves trashed Lobi Stars 3-1 to move to third on the table.
Maikaba admitted that, it hurts to see his side drop points at home to Rivers United, but he strongly believes they are still in the race.
“It was a very good display by my players against the League leader, but we did not get the result we actually worked for,” Maikaba said.
“I am a bit disappointed not in my players but with the result, we have our own target for the game but so sad we could not achieve that.”
“We keep fighting until the very last match of the season to ensure that we achieve a continental football next season for our darling fans.”
