Rivers United pipped Katsina United 1-0 in one of match day 28 of 2020-2021 Nigeria professional football league encounters.
The Pride of Rivers went into the game at the Adokiye Amiesimaka’s Stadium without technical adviser, Stanley Eguma who was given time off, after regaining freedom from his abductors.
Katsina United on their part, also arrived Porth Harcourt without talisman Samuel Kalu who is also recovering from the injury he sustained, in last week’s 3-1 trashing of Enyimba.

The goal was Malachi Ohawume’s fourth in this season’s Nigeria Professional Football League.
As a result of the thres points, the Rivers United climbed to 4th place on the NPFL table with 48 points from 28 matches.
