Manchester United have completed the signing of Victor Lindelöf from Benfica after the defender passed a medical.
Lindelöf, who has cost United £30.7million, arrived at the club’s Carrington training base on Wednesday morning.
The 22-year-old has long been a target of manager Jose Mourinho, who decided against a move for the player in January.
The Sweden international has revealed his joy at moving to Old Trafford.
In an interview on the club’s official website, he said: ‘I’m thrilled to join United. I’m keen to get started and contribute to the team’s efforts to win more trophies.’
