Manchester City are the 2017/18 EPL champions after city rivals Man United lost to West Brom 1-0 on Sunday to ensure Jose Mourinho’s men have no mathematical chance of catching up with the league leaders.
West Brom, who are rock bottom of the league and condemned to relegate, snuck one past David De Gea.
Jay Rodriguez scored on 73rd minute and silenced the Old Trafford faithfuls as the Red Devils labored in vain.
City needed a win in the next game (against Swansea) after defeating Tottenham 3-1 on Saturday, to put their quest for the title beyond doubt – but West Brom took care of that with Sunday’s result.
Our Time. Our City.

The EPL triumph also means Pep Guardiola has completed a league double, after he won the Carabao Cup in February.
Meanwhile, the battle for top four is still on with Man United and Liverpool now locked in the race to the finish in second place – although Jurgen Klopp’s men have played one game more that the top five teams.
Tottenham and Chelsea will also battle for the fourth spot in the league.
