Manchester United have confirmed Odion Ighalo departure of Odion Ighalo from the club.
The Red Devils revealed Ighalo will be returning to his parent club Shanghai Shenhua following the expiration of his loan deal.
Ighalo who joined the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side January 2020 scored five goal ls in all competitions for the club last season, but struggled for game time this season.
“We’d like to thank Odion for his efforts while at the club and wish him all the best for the future,” reads a statement on the club website.

The Nigerian forward also took to the social media to express his gratitude to the club, fans and manager on Tuesday as he announced hia departure.
Ighalo made 23 appearances for United across all competitions, and remain the first Nigerian to play for the club.
