Golden Eaglets’ chief coach, Manu Garba has expressed confidence that his wards will defeat Angola in the final match of the UEFA Assist International Tourney ongoing in Turkey.
Manu in an exclusive chat with brila.net shortly after his boys defeated Montenegro 4-2, noted that it was great to have bounced back from an opening 2-0 loss to Senegal and the objective is to know areas the team will improve on.
“We played against Senegal and sadly we lost but we must remember that this is a friendly tournament to expose the boys. We are trying to assess the players so that we can know who to take to Tanzania. We won Montenegro 4-2 and glad we bounced back. We are looking forward to the last game on Saturday against Angola.”
The Nigerian U-17 team, Golden Eaglets beat Montenegro 4-2 in Match Day 2 where Olusegun Olukunle scored a hat trick and Akinsola Jimoh got the fourth goal for Nigeria.
