Striker Victor Mbaoma says he’s delighted with his goal and assist for Enyimba in their CAF Confederation Cup clash against Diambars of Senegal on Sunday.
Mbaoma scored the second goal for the Finidi George tutored side on the 31st minute, before setting substitute Samuel Kalu for his first goal for Enyimba on the 90th minute.
The victory saw Enyimba cruised to the final phase of the preliminary round with a 4-0 aggregate victory over the Senegalese side.
“I thank God for the victory, I’m excited about my goal and assist on Sunday. So happy that we are through to the the next round ” he said after the game.
Meanwhile, the two time African Champions will know their next opponents in the competition on Tuesday.
