MFM coach Tony Bolus happy to pick first away point of the season

MFM FC picked a point on the road against Dakkada in an  NPFL match on Wednesday and Coach Tony Bolus says his team did well to avoid defeat against the in form host.

Dakkada scored first and in the 47th minute through Solomon Chigozie’s volley, but the Olukoya boys scored their equaliser in the 77th minute of the encounter after Temin Adebayo connected a pass from Akanni Elijah.

Bolus said he’s very pleased to watch his boy fight back from nothing to secured their first away point of the campaign.

The gaffer hinted that the results will boost his side’s confidence going into their next game against Rangers at Soccer Temple, Agege Stadium this weekend.

“It’s not easy getting a point here, playing against a very good side like this,” Bolus told the press in Uyo.

“It’s a morale booster to the team. We have been studying Dakkada for quite sometime and that’s why you see at the end of the first half, we decided to introduce three players and at the end of the day the changes paid off,” he said.

MFM have garnered seven points from four matches this season.
