Kingsley Micheal has revealed why he was left out of Super Eagles squad for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic.
The Bologna of Italy midfielder made his first competitive appearance for the Super Eagles against Cape Verde last month, but was one of the surprise omission from the 23 players invited for the battles against the Raoul Savouy’s men.
In his reaction, the former Golden Eaglets star has now revealed he was invited by Gernot Rohr, but excused himself from the game, after picking up an injury.
“I was sent letter of invitation for the double header match before injury ruled me out.
“Thank GOD am back to training by November I will be back into the team through hardwork and injury free.” He told ckdmedia.
Michael Kingsley played all the 90 minutes in Super Eagles 2-1 win over the Blue Sharks Of Cape Verde in Mindelo last month.
