The Technical Director Danish Superliga club, FC Midtjylland Svend Graversen, said Raphael Onyedika will be staying with the club for at least one more season.
Onyedika is prime target for Serie A Champions AC Milan this summer and have held talks to sign the Nigerian youngster.
Onyedika is highly rated by Milan and Director Paolo Maldini sees him as the ideal replacement for Ivory Coast International, Franck Kessie, who left to join Barcelona on free transfer this summer.
The Rossoneri however saw their €4m bid for Onyedika this week knocked back by Midtjylland.
Club’s technical director, Svend Gravesen has now stated categorically that the 21-year-old is not leaving the club this summer.
“We want to keep Onyedika for one more season,” he said, as quoted by Calciomercato.com.
The talented midfielder is expected to be in action for the Club this weekend.
