MLS side Kansas City FC snap up Agada

Nigerian striker William Agada has completed his switch to Major League Soccer side Sporting Kansas City.

The 22-year-old completed the transfer from Israeli side Hapoel Jerusalem and will officially team up with the team when the transfer window opens on July 7.

He signed a two-year deal with the team with an option another two years based on his performance.

“I am so excited to be joining Sporting KC,” Agada said.

“It is a dream to play for a club like this and I hope to come in and help the team succeed. This is a great opportunity for me and I can’t wait to compete in front of the fans in Kansas City.”

Agada becomes the second Nigerian to sign for the team after midfielder Gadi Kinda who also joined from Israeli Premier League.

The striker scored 37 goals across four seasons in Israel. He spent three years with Hapoel Jerusalem and one on loan at Hapoel Haifa in 2020-2021.
