Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah and his team-mates trained on Monday evening ahead of their Champions League second-leg clash against Manchester City tonight.
Salah suffered a groin injury in the first leg at Anfield and, although he took part in a training session on Monday, the Reds will subject him to a late fitness test ahead of the trip to the Etihad Stadium.
Salah has been Liverpool’s key man this season, scoring 38 goals in all competitions this season.
Of the Egyptian’s chances of recovering in time to face City, in his pre-match press conference, Klopp said: ‘Not sure 100 percent.
We train at 5 pm. It is rather yes than no but we have to see. We will train and then make a decision.’
Jordan Henderson will miss the clash at the Etihad after picking up his third yellow of the competition in last week’s victory at Anfield.
