Striker Terem Moffi was involved in FC Lorient Ligue 1 clash against former French Champions Lille Metropole this Sunday.
The Nigeria international started the game upon his return from international break where he scored for the Super Eagles.
The striker however failed to find the target, despite spending 86 minutes on the pitch.
Moffi was well marshaled by Lille defenders and was reduced to just two shots, one of which he managed to get on target.
With the game leveled at 1-1, Lorient’s gaffer Regis Le Bris then decided to take off the 23-year-old forward and it proved to be a right decision as the scored the winner immediately.
The winner came from the boot of Theo Le Bris, who celebrated his 20th birthday on Saturday and also the nephew of the coach Regis Le Bris.
The victory moves Lorient to third position on the league standing, with 22 points from nine matches.
