Egypt’s Mohamed Salah suffered a head injury in an all important Premier League title game on Saturday at St James’s Park, a major scare for fans of the Liverpool and also the Pharaohs.
Salah was stretched off in the 73rd minute against Newcastle after a collision left the Egyptian sprawled on the turf, motionless for a few seconds.
When he regained consciousness, the 27 year-old clasped his head from apparent physical and emotional pain.
Although it was reported via Sky Sports that he managed to watch the rest of the game in the dressing room, Liverpool will carry out further medical examination.

The attacking forward could be a major doubt for his Club’s second leg semi-final game against Barcelona in the UCL.
More so, the extent of the injury will also ascertain whether he’ll be part of Egypt’s campaign in the Africa Cup of Nations next month.
