Football match-ups don’t come any bigger and tougher as the Nigeria vs Angola quarter-final clash in the CHAN 2018 according Ex Eagles defender, Ifeanyi Udeze.
Udeze insists Sunday’s match against the Palancas Negras is “WAR” going by the sides head to head record.
Nigeria have only recorded two wins in the last eight competitive meetings with Angola.
‘I have a personal history with that team and it was one of the most difficult I had in the colors of Nigeria.
‘Playing against Angola is War and that is because they come prepared to play and fight on the pitch.
‘Angolan players are not just difficult to play against they are equally wicked and devious. I got sent off playing against them and I don’t regret it.
‘The Eagles cannot even afford to be caught off guard.’
