Morocco don’t Bother Super Falcons – Okobi

Super Falcons midfielder Ngozi Okobi is in bullish mood ahead of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash with Morocco.

Okobi reiterated that the team is unified and confident ahead of the match with host nation Morocco, who are riding on the waves of home supporters in the competition.

The Moroccans will reportedly have a 50,000 crowd cheering them on at the Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex, but Okobi insists, the Super Falcons are ready.

“No matter who we face, whether it’s the host country or whatever, it’s football. We have to be ready to win and qualify for the final.”

The Falcons have already faced two of the title contenders in South Africa and Cameroon.

They lost to the Banyana Banyana 2-1 in the Group A opener, but edged Cameroon 1-0 in another titanic clash in the last eight tie.
