Nigerian forward Moses Simon was in good form FC Nantes, netting hattrick and providing an assist as they thumped Paris FC 8-0 in the Coupe De La Ligue.
Moses has been one of the Christian Gourcuff’s side best performers this season and he proved that with a delightful display on Wednesday.
Simon started the rout when he curled the ball into the top corner from just inside the penalty area after just 22nd minute after his initial shot was saved by the visitors goalkeeper Vincent Demarconnay.
Eight minutes later, Thody Elie Youan made it 2-0, before Simon tap in the third, the former Gent of Belgium player then turned the provider for Ludovic Blas who scored the fourth.
The 24-year-old completed his hat-trick after pouncing on a loose ball inside the area from a free-kick , two minutes to the end of first half.
Imran Louza, Blas and Mehdi Abeid scored remaining third goals later in the second half of the game.
Simon, who is on loan from Levante has scored five goals in 10 appearances this season for Nantes.
