Turkish Super Lig side, Fenerbahce has announced that their on loan Chelsea winger Victor Moses will miss at least five weeks of action after getting injured in Monday’s league clash against Gazisehir Gaziantep.
Moses scored Fenerbahce ‘s first goal of the 2019-2020 Season From penalty spot, before missing another penalty few minutes later , but the winger went on to assist the team’s third goal before he was substituted with 13 minutes remaining.
However, the club confirmed the reasons for his substitution on through their website, as they revealed that the former Nigeria international has thorn a muscle.
The injury was detected after the medical examination was conducted on the player and the expected recovery period is between four to five weeks.
“Victor Moses injured in the match between 4 and 5 weeks is expected to stay away from the field.
“The treatment of the star footballer who had a partial tear in the upper muscle has started,” read the club’s statement.
