Nigerian forward Simon Moses delivered a masterclass performance for Nantes as they come back from behind to beat Lens on Friday.
The Super Eagles winger came off the bench to score the goal that gave Nantes a 3-2 win over the visitors.
The goal is a perfect response from Simon who was criticized in the media by Nantes Coach Antoine Kombouare, prior to the game.
The winger enjoyed a bright start to the campaign — assisting six-goal and scoring a goal in the first ten games of the season, but he dropped form and he has not assisted or scored a goal since November 7.
“I am still waiting for him to perform. He has made a resounding start to the season and he is now less well than the rest of the team. It is up to him to make his way back to his best. He has to recover”,
”He started with his national team with traveling. Physically and mentally it’s difficult. ” The coach said before the game.
Kombaure then dropped him from the starting eleven for the game but brought him in the final 20 minutes as Nantes desperately searched for the winner.
However, Simon showed he’s still the man for the big occasion as deliverer a perfect solo goal to win the game for Kombaoure’s side.
