The 27-year-old had a night to forget at the Stade de France, with an uninspiring display and was withdrawn by the coach after 45 minutes.
Nantes, defending the title the won last season were a shadow of themselves and were completely blown away within first thirty minutes.
Logan Costa got a brace for Toulouse inside opening ten minutes, before Thijs Dallinga added another brace in the 23rd and 31st minute.
Nantes pulled a goal back through Ludovic Blas who converted from the penalty spot with 15 minutes left.
But Toulouse erased the goal by getting their fifth of the game in the added time through Zakaria Aboukhlal.
Following the heavy defeat, Nantes have missed the opportunity to play in Europe next season.
