Super Eagles star Moses Simon had a game to forget as Nantes suffered a heavy defeat against a Reims side inspired by Folarin Balogun this Sunday.

Simon missed great opportunity to score a goal that would have changed the completion of the game for his club, as they suffered a 3-0 defeat.

The Nigerian international was however withdrawn by Coach Antoine Kombouaré immediately after hour mark.

Prior to his substitution, he had completed just one dribble and attempted only ten passes to the dismay of the home fans at the Beaujoire Stadium.

He had two unsuccessful crosses and attempted one shot at goal.

The 27-year-old has 5 goals and 3 assists in 25 matches for the Antoine Kombouaré’s side this season.

The defeat stretched Nantes winless run in the league to seven matches.
