Moses stars on his Spartak Moscow debut

Former Nigeria international Victor Moses made his debut for Spartak Moscow in their 2-3 win over l FK Khimki on Saturday.

 

Moses who signed for Spartak Moscow on a season-long loan from Chelsea last Thursday came in the second half and helped the club salvage an important win.

 

 

Moses was introduced into the game in the 56th minute for Nail Umyarov, shortly after Khimki took the lead in the 48th minute through Mirzov.

 

Moses instantly made his presence felt as he played a part in Spartak Moscow’s equalizer in the 58th minute.

 

Ezequiel Ponce put Spartak ahead for the first time in the 63rs minute before Jordan Larsson bagged the third goal for Spartak Moscow in the 77th minutes.

 

Brian Idowu reduced the deficit for Khimki in the 85th minute, but Spartak held on to secured maximum points.

 

Spartak Moscow is second on the table with 24 points from 11, they are slightly behind leaders Zenit St Petersburg.
