Musa caged as Fatih Karagumruk suffered embarrassing defeat at Hatayspor

Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa saw action for Fatih Karagumruk in their Turkish Super Lig game against Hatayspor on Saturday.

The winger was handed a place in the starting XI, but couldn’t save the team from losing 3-0 to the hosts.

The former Leicester City forward was deployed into the striking position and he struggled to make an impact.

Musa, however lasted for 45 minutes, before making way for Yannick Karamoh immediately after the restart.

He has now featured in 23 matches for Fatih Karagumruk this season and contributed two goals and two assists.

Lobzhanidze gave the hosts the lead in 29th minute, after latching on to a pass from Ruben Ribeiro.

Ruben Ribeiro again set up Ayoub El Kaabi who made it 2-0 six minutes later.

Ayoub El Kaabi completed the rout when he netted the third two minutes before hour mark.

With the defeat, Fatih Karagumruk slipped to 9th on the table with 40 points from 29 matches, while Hatayspor remain 6th with 46 points.
