Musa reveals How Sunday Oliseh treated Top Super Eagles Players

Ahmed Musa named Sunday Oliseh as the most disciplined coach he ever worked with.

The most capped Nigerian Player made this known in an interview with Arise TV.

Musa and Oliseh worked when he was appointed as the Super Eagles boss in 2015.

Despite Oliseh’s strained relation with many top players in the squad, the former Ajax man enjoyed a good relationship with Musa and subsequently named him as the Captain of the team.

“In discipline, I will call Sunday Oliseh because I remember if you don’t have a shin guard you can’t even train, so you see how strict he is.

“So definitely no matter who you are, no matter where you play, no matter where you come from, Sunday Oliseh, if an academy boy plays better than you, he’s going to give him that opportunity to play in the national team so that’s the discipline that we’re talking about,” Musa said to Arise News.

The bromance however didn’t last long as Oliseh resigned from his position, due to irreconcilable differences with the Nigeria Football Federation.

Oliseh, who took over reign after the dismissal of Stephen Keshi, managed 14 games.
