Kano Pillars striker Nyima Nwagwa has stated that the capture of Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa by the Kano-based Nigeria Professional Football League side will be a massive boost to the team’s title aspiration after the unveiling of the former Leicester city of England winger.
Nwagwa speaking in a chat with brila.net said it’s been great anticipation from the players of the club who are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the national team skipper in the team’s Matchday set up and what his arrival will represent for the club with his huge experience.
“Ever since we got the whole news like he is coming and the whole speculation it’s like wow great to have this guy here, have the captain of the national team and his presence too is going to motivate others too, he is a legend and he is our captain in the national team. It’s fun knowing the Calibre of player that he is and with his experience he is going to bring so much to the table for us that can make us go further than where we are right now, so I think his coming to our club will help us a lot.”
