Nigeria’s Super Eagles are one win away from sealing a qualification ticket for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and the endorsement for that don’t come any bigger than ex Eagles Mutiu Adepoju.
Nigeria is a point (9 points) ahead of second placed South Africa and a Win on Saturday at the FNB Stadium all but confirms that and Adepoju is cosigning the Eagles drive for victory in Jo’burg.
Adepoju, who is a legend and a member of the Country’s first golden generation, tweeted his support for the Eagles ahead of Saturday’s match.

Nigeria’s journey on the continent and in the competition has been pretty steep, almost none existing since 2013.
The Eagles won a third title inside the FNB Stadium, but failed to reach the next edition as defending champions, no thanks to a million situations including home and away draws against Bafana.
Two years after, the team failed to qualify again, yielding to the resurrected Pharaohs of Egypt inspired by Mohamed Salah and Hector Cuper.
Thus 2019 brings a new hope and excitement for fans of the team and former players alike.
