My dream Super Eagles is 70 percent Complete – Rohr

He’s been on the job for slightly over two years but Super Eagles Head Coach Gernot Rohr insists he work with the national team is only about 70 percent done.

Rohr was appointed technical adviser of the Nigeria team in August 2016 and since then has guided the country to the World Cup and also recently qualified them for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

In January of 2018 before the World Cup, the German signed a new two year deal that’ll see him stay on the job until 2020; which will make him one of the longest serving Eagles Head Coach.

However, Rohr believes despite the achievements under his guidance, the Eagles of his dreams is yet to materialize and admits there’s still some work to do.

‘I am at 70 percent with this team. We still have a lot of work to do, but I see that there is progress. ‘The players we have are bringing more quality, quickness and fighting spirit and enthusiasm.

‘We are still young and even if the players since the World Cup are not the same, We have new players with the same spirit.’

Size and maturity should be added to your selection as Super Eagles look like under 20 Flying Eagles . All other. Size matters in football.

Good work, may I urge Rhor to invite all those who want to play for Nigeria including the Brazilian/ Nigerian to play against local national team in Nigeria. Expand your search for potential Eagles proper. A star is needed in the team like Tahu of Bafana Bafana..

Coach do you notice that all the players in the Super Eagles play just BASIC football? No one could single handedly carry the team as a star. Please don’t ignor all local players as agents from Europe still come to Nigeria to buy local players.
