SSC Napoli of Italy President Aurelio De Laurentiis has reacted to reports linking striker, Victor Osimhen with a move away from the Club.
De Laurentiis tagged the reports as ‘ridiculous’ talk and insist Napoli has no intention of selling their prized asset.
There has been paper talks about Osimhen being on the radar of a host if clubs including Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal following his impressive form for Gli Azzurri this season.
Reports from England suggests that Premier League side Manchester United are ready to meet Napoli’s asking price of €105m for the 23-year-old.
However, Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis refuted the claims and stated emphatically that Osimhen will remain at Club for long time.
“I don’t want to waste time talking about this, the situation is ridiculous. Just move on and talk about football,” de Laurentiis said.
“Osimhen is a young striker and with the right tips, his development is natural.”
“There are no problems. Victor has already proved his close bond with this club,” He told Football Italia.
Osimhen is Napoli’s too scorer in the Seria A with 12 goals and 5 assists from 24 games.
