The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has confirmed it will announce a new sponsor for the Men’s division 1 and 2 leagues this week.
In the last two two seasons, the Nigeria Premier Basketball League has had to major title sponsors, but recent leadership crisis in the Federation has meant some decisions on the elite league had to be reversed or cancelled outright.
On Tuesday, the NBBF issued a statement on its official Twitter handle of a new sponsor for the league; that has been in off season for almost eight months.
The Federation tweeted:
