Ndidi exonerated from Leicester City’s damaging defeat at Fulham

Willfred Ndidi got a fair rating in Leicester City’s damaging 5-3 defeat at Fulham on Monday.

In a crucial match in their battle against the drop, Ndidi started the game from the bench as Dean Smith opted to play Boubakary Soumare in the defensive midfield position.

With Leicester City falling apart and Soumare one of the culprits, Dean quickly introduced Ndidi for the final 30 minutes.

His introduced had positive impact on Leicester as their combined defensive woes, and poor attacking balance became resolved.

The Nigerian stepped in well a couple of times and moved the ball reasonably well. He covered the back four a bit better.

On the other end, it felt like he was getting in the way on a couple of attacks, but he was fine otherwise.

At the end of the game, he was rated 5/10 by Leicester City tabloid , Leicestershirelive.

Ndidi will be aiming to get a starting role in Leicester City’s next game against Liverpool.
