Wilfred Ndidi was on the losing side once again in the Premier League as his club Leicester City fell 3-0 to Liverpool at King Power on Monday.
Ndidi was making his 26th league appearance for the troubled Foxes this season.
The Nigerian international didn’t have the best of the game and was substituted after 60 minutes.
The former Gent midfielder is experiencing a poor campaign since joining the club in 2017.
The 26-year-old is yet to score a goal or assist in the league this season.
Meanwhile, his compatriot, Kelechi Ihenacho is not fit enough to play a part in the game.
Iheanacho is recovering from a muscle injury he suffered against Leeds United two weeks ago.
A brace from Curtis Jones and another strike from Trent Alexander-Arnold made it a seventh straight win for Liverpool.
The Foxes look doomed and are strong candidates to join Southampton in the Championship next season.
Dean Smith’s side have picked just one win in their last 14 games and lost at home for a club record-equalling the 10th time this season.
