Nigeria international midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has reacted to Leicester City’s record victory over Southampton at the St Mary’s Stadium on Friday.
Ndidi was in action for the Foxes as they secure their biggest win in the history of the Club and also smashing 131 years record for the biggest away team in the Premier League.
Jamie Vardy scored four , while Spanish striker Ayoze Perez scored hat-tricks with Ben Chilwell, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison getting the other goals.
Ndidi who was at the heart of the visitors’ midfilder helped to shield the defense, as they come away with an impressive clean sheet and three-point.
He played the entire 90 minutes of the game, won eight duels, was involved in seven tackles and made one interception.
The former Genk midfielder, however, took to his social media handle to celebrate the record win.
“What a night!!! ,” Ndidi tweeted.
Ndidi has played nine games for Leicester City this season , and has scored twice to help Brendan Rodgers side to second position on the log with 20 points from 10 matches.
